Interval Studio — Privacy Policy

Plainly: we don't collect anything.

Short version

Interval Studio doesn't collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything you create — routines, blocks, photos, videos, audio files, and your usage stats — stays on your device. There are no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs, no servers behind this app.

What's stored locally

All of your routines, the media you attach to each block, and your playback statistics are stored inside the app's sandboxed Documents folder on your device. When you delete the app, iOS removes all of that data along with it.

Photos, videos, audio

When you pick a photo or video, the system Photos picker hands the file to the app and we copy it into our sandbox. We never request access to your full Photos library. Audio files come through the system Files picker and are copied the same way.

Notifications & Live Activities

Local notifications and Live Activities are scheduled by the operating system on-device — nothing is sent over the network. You can disable both from iOS Settings at any time.

Sharing routines

When you tap Share or Save to Files, Interval Studio writes a JSON file you can hand off through the system share sheet. Anything that file contains — including embedded media if you choose "with media" — is controlled entirely by you and goes only to the recipients you select.

This website

The app collects nothing. intervalstudio.click is a separate thing, and it does use Google Analytics — it would be dishonest to lump them together.

Analytics only runs if you agree to it. Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set until you tap "Allow" on the banner; choose "No thanks" and the site behaves identically. If you allowed it and changed your mind, clearing this site's data in your browser resets the choice and you'll be asked again.

When it is enabled, Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are (derived from a truncated IP address), and basic device and browser information. It never receives your name, your email, or anything about your routines — the website has no access to the app's data. Google acts as our data processor; their handling is covered by Google's privacy policy.

The website sets no advertising cookies, and we run no ad or remarketing products.

Children

Interval Studio is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes meaningfully, the version in the app and at this URL will be updated. The effective date at the top of this page is the source of truth.

Terms of use

Use of the app is also governed by the Terms of Use, which include an important health disclaimer and a note about not relying on the app for safety-critical timing.
